Forgive me if this has already been asked but is there any command line switches to enable an automated silent cleanup? If not would there be a possibility of adding this feature. We look after many pcs on a managed service and we're trying to find a program that can clean up toolbars and other unwanted software automatically on a schedule.

I had a computer that was infected with a browser hijacking called gamersinfo.org but Adwcleaner didn't pick it up. Maybe you haven't added it to the database so would really appriciate if you did.

Thank you for creating and continuing to update AdwCleaner. My 68 year old neighbor called me asking for help removing what turned out to be "Ads by CheckMeUp". Your software worked perfectly, and even found and resolved another issue as well. I am going to donate to help you continue your efforts. It's not a lot, but i hope everyone you help is able to donate something...thanks again!

I never update my adwcleaner version automatically kicked from the app. I delete the app and I download the new version ONLY here. CNET or other site put their own spices with it that kicked all kind of security messages.

AdwCleaner just got rid of that noxious weed called "MyRadioPlayer" that sneaked by my virus protection. No problems encountered on Win 8.1 Pro.

MERCI!

For at least 2 versions ago, Adwcleaner is detecting problems in "Folders" with a program called "System Mechanic" from "Iolo" (http://www.iolo.com). This program is helping our computers to stay functional, healthy and safe. Could it be possible to whitelist this program? Thanks!

I downloaded adwcleaner_4.101.exe and ran virustotal.com on it. 55 scanners were ran and 2 of them detected a virus:

Jiangmin TrojanDropper.FrauDrop.uic
TrendMicro-HouseCall Suspicious_GEN.F47V1113

I'm not sure if I should go ahead and install it.....

Xplode> hey great work! This seems to be the best utility at getting rid of some nasty pieces of malware. There is only one suggestion of a new threat that has hit some of my friends computers. The name of the software is called "PC Clean Maestro" by CompuClever. If there is any way in your next release, do you mind creating an adware removal routine for this piece of malware. Check it out on www.shouldiremoveit.com
