here's my update on the last work:

I found the quarantine (MBAM too ;-), everything restored, no problem, thank you !

And MBAM (was busy the whole day long, more than a million files ... but no interference with SE ) detected several more entries in the registry, one js in Firefox and a Trojan whith Security Essentials already disposed in the trash. So nothing active and heavily...

A couple of days ago i downloaded adwcleaner and i worked very good. Only 1 unwanted program he didn't remove (MPC Cleaner) the program found it but didn't removed it. I hope you can do something with this information. Sorry for my bad English.

Yes, it seems that an unsafe extension is using a similar id than t a Norton legit one. We'll keep you informed about this FP removal.

With the current version of ADWCleaner (5.110) I noticed that it is picking up some new things:
