Re: Bug report for QuickDiag

Hello!

Well, like I mentioned before, I was not sure if this was the right file, so in that case, the right file would be this: 5f6db.msi in stead.

Re: Bug report for QuickDiag

hello

I'm surprised cause I only control and read msi files with quickdiag, not .msp files.....

$aList = _FileListToArray(@WindowsDir & "\Installer", "*.msi", 1)

You're the only having this problem, I don't have anymore returns from others users about that ....

Hello!

The problem still persists; now it is on line 7975.

I am sorry I forgot to include the MD5 for the above mentioned file, so I thought I should run a script with OldTimer's List-It (OTL) in order to provide you with MD5 for all the *.mp* files in the said folder, here it is:

Re: Bug report for QuickDiag

Hello!

Thank you for updating QuickDiag, however the problem still persists, even in Safe Mode.

Now, the error message is this: "Line 7936  (File "C:\Users\TMA\Downloads\quickdiag_2_21.06.2016.2.exe"): Error: The requested action with this object has failed."

The problem file is still the same: C:\Windows\Installer\3ef7a91.msi

I have tried running QuickDiag from Windows Explorer/Administrat...

Re: Bug report for QuickDiag

Hello!

Yes, I stop my protections with the use of QuickDiag. I have Emsisoft Anti-Malware. I even uninstalled EAM, but the error persists. In Safe Mode the error persists too.

As it's asked, do you stop your protections with the use of QuickDiag ? ( in safemode Avast works too if you have it )

The problem file is still this: [22/09/2015 17:16:32] - C:\Windows\Installer\3ef7a91.msi : (Intel(R) Chipset Device Software...
