This could be a worm (Network virus). And you might need to reflash your routers software. Check your network settings or network device and see if there are static IP's in place. Could you try disconnecting from the network, cleaning up your PC with Malwarebytes and Adwcleaner, restart PC and see if the issue persists? If it doesn't, try connecting to a different network and see if it happens...

Thanks John! That is reassuring. Do you think you could check about the files for another computer of mine? I just want to be sure that the registry will be okay.

...I got that too, I noticed i always got wrong Chcksums from the author's site.
I tried with different browser to no avail, then tried and made it from Filehippo with right checksum.
Now running it, it told me it's an old version and I should download the newer one, though everything seems right as above and in "about" info

A quick bump up the post to get admins/mods here to confirm and double check my concerns. Also, the other thread hasn't been confirmed by admins/mods as well. We will see how it turns out, could be just another bug with Adwcleaner.
After download & install, I checked debug. Upon launch, a message said this was outdated version, and asked if I wanted a newer version. I said OK. Still crashed.
Thank I returned and downloaded the "updated" version, which was the same, but this time said no to a newer version. It will not go beyond heuristics analysis. Here's the error message.

Yesterday the Windows 10 machine from my wife was scanned by 7.0.1.0 and referred Zylom games and TryMedia as suspicious. Removal of it all led to no gaming anymore because these files (and dirs) are apearently necessary to run and check validation of the Zylom Games. Such a shame because a noob does not understand that.
