In the last update of Windows 10, they upgraded Windows defender. Especially the Exploit protection. Many people do the AdwCleaner dowload but are unable to run the program.

je le résolvais jusqu'à présent en pratiquant un redémarrage du PC.

First, about the download issues. Please try again without IDM. It should work as expected - I'll be working on a fix asap.

Then, about AdwCleaner 7.1 : We're still working on it. The heuristic crash will be fixed in the 7.1 release. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

Vous pouvez désactiver Task Host sans aucun danger. Voici la marche à suivre :

• Rendez-vous dans Panneau de configuration > Outils d'administration ;
• Ouvrez Planificateur de tâches.

Dans le Planificateur de tâches :

• À gauche :
  • Déroulez Bibliothèque du Planificateur de tâches > Microsoft > Windows ;
  • Cliquez sur RAC.
• Dans la partie centrale :
  • Effectuez un...

So nobody can tell me why the newly released update to 7.0.8.0 will not download to my PC.  Is this update even real?  Malwarebytes release history does not mention anything other than 7.0.7.0. ANYBODY?????

AdwCleaner 7.0.8.0 released today, continues to crash during startup heuristic phase per above.

Used current Chrome with IDM - same message:

"IDM started to download the file using one connection because of data corruption when newly received data in several connections did not match the same data downloaded earlier. Do you want to read about possible reasons of data corruption?"

Of all the things I download from all the sites I visit, this (AdwCleaner from ToolsLib.net) is the only one...
