I haven't been able to update since 4.1 because it hangs up all three of my computers during cleaning, forcing me to do a hard shutdown. All my browsers have been updated; I'm using Windows 10; it's three different computers; yet the problem still continues with 5.009.

Im not 100% sure but i think that after updating all of my windows 8 drivers
adwcleaner along with rogue killer stop cleaning and instead they ended up freezing my windows 8 laptop.
@Xplode..This is probably one of the best programs that I have used and has helped me so much when dealing with all those annoying ads on multiple browsers. This program has always worked for me whether I am using Windows.7 or 8; however, I ran into an issues when I was dealing with some malware called "DNS Unlocker." Your program actually removed all the software that was related with "DNS Unlocker," but it was unable to revert the changes that it did. "DNS Unlocker" actually modified my TCP/IPv4 settings and set it from automatic to a custom IP address. It took me a while to figure out why I still had coupon pop ups when I was visiting different sites. I believe since the creator of "DNS Unlcoker" made it possible to change your settings, he might be redirecting traffic through his server which allows him to capture all ID and passwords for any user. Is there a way you might be able to implement a setting on your program to set the TCP/IPv4 settings, which are located under your Network adapter settings, back to default, which would be automatic? This would be so awesome!

J'ai eu exactement le même problème MXCmike. Du coup j'ai utilisé Roguekiller. Une fois que Roguekiller (Adlice Software) ai eu débusqué un Malware bien caché, adwcleaner s'est remis à fonctionner normalement chez moi.
I posted this before, but nothing has changed. I have not been able to use AdwCleaner since the update to 4.2. All three of my computers hang up on "cleaning web browsers" and must be shut down the hard way: by pushing the button. There is no other way to get the computer to shut down AdwCleaner. I used to be able to run it in a few minutes, and it got rid of everything my other scanners don't catch. Now I can't use it at all. Please fix!
Ever since I downloaded 4.2 a few weeks ago, this program has stopped working: All three of my computers get hung up somewhere in cleaning, usually on "cleaning web browsers." Then my computer becomes unresponsive and needs to be shut down. On two of my computers, I was able to use older versions, but they're months old.

Pour le reste, mêmes résultats et je ne sais pas si je peux supprimer

After running AdwareCleaner, cleaning most of the results, and rebooting, this is what s going on
My BitComet (torrents) clients still works fine, but everything else internet-related doesnt seems to connect, like Skype, Avast updating, and all browsers.
Is there any way to reverse the process?
