My adwcleaner failed to remove Vosteran Search which pops up 3 tabs for every one chrome tab. I haven't downloaded any private or personal files on this new computer.....only windows and McAfee updates have been entered. McAfee sent me to adwcleaner. Interesting but also not successful. Help.

@IRON: In Foren werden keine Beiträge gelöscht. War schon immer so und wird auch so bleiben. Vielleicht kommst du drauf, warum das so ist. Es gibt eine "Kennwort vergessen" Funktion. Aber egal, ich spare mir Erklärungen dazu.
M-K-D-B ist tatsächlich beschäftigt mit wichtigeren Dingen. Wie immer irrst du oft mit Dingen, von denen du glaubst eine Ahnung zu haben. Vieles ist und bleib doch eine "Blackbox" für dich.
Ich weise aber hier mal darauf hin, dass das Internet kein rechtsfreier Raum ist und dir kein Urteil über mich mehr anmaßen solltest. Danke für die Aufmerksamkeit. EOD

Your software worked perfectly, and even found and resolved another issue as well. I am going to donate to help you continue your efforts. Google Chrome me "refuse" le téléchargement depuis votre site toolslib : " adwcleaner_4.107.exe peut nuire à votre confort de navigation, il a donc été bloqué par Chrome."
Y a t'il un probleme ?
Nb: le téléchargement a partir de bleepingcomputer se passe sans soucis !

Comme je le signalais il y a 2 jours, l’exécutable adwcleaner des nouvelles versions téléchargées à partir de la version 4.105 ne répond plus sur mon PC XP Pro SP3 ???? Je ne peux plus l'installer alors que la version précédente est automatiquement éliminée au moment du téléchargement de la nouvelle version.
J'ai reçu d'un des abonnés de ce forum la version 3.311 qui, oh miracle, fonctionne!! avec ce commentaire de l'expéditeur: "Je vous envoie une plus ancienne version qui ne possède pas le téléchargement additif.... A partir de la version 4.000 il y a un court moment de téléchargement... " . Je ne sais pas à quoi cela fait référence, mais si le mainteneur de adwcleaner pouvait remédier à ce problème ou m'indiquer la nouvelle marche à suivre s'il y en a une pour utiliser les versions récentes, je lui en serai très reconnaissant car il y a 2 mois que je galère sur ce problème alors que cet outil nous est à tous précieux

I downloaded Adwcleaner today from CNET
I got a warning it was out of date, and was directed to a link for the current version
I downloaded the new Adwcleaner and when I tried installing it,
"Avast Antivirus" gave me this warning:
