Version 5.017 konnte installiert werden und die Software hat auch ihren Job gemacht & 2 Einträge wurden in der regedit gefunden und behoben.
Version 5.018 & Version 5.019 konnte ich nicht installieren, es kam die tüpische Windowsfehlermeldung.

la version 18 était détectée comme un trojan et la version 19 ne peux pas se charger :
a détecté une erreur et doit fermer !!
j'ai un pc sous xp et avast antivirus !!!

Depuis la version 5.018, j'ai ce message d'erreur sur 1 de mes 3 PC :
"Adwcleaner a rencontré un problème
et doit fermer"
et le soft ne se lance pas... même punition avec la 5.019...
Par contre si je relance la 5.017 (en refusant la MAJ), tout se passe normalement et elle ne trouve aucune clé ou fichier suspect. J'ai complété le test par ZHPdiag et ZHPcleaner qui sont tous deux négatifs aussi.

I will confirm this awesome tool is now crashing and making computer blue screen upon cleaning. It is a great tool but the latest update is broken!
Version 5.018 wird derzeit von Avast! Free als Malware erkannt und am Start gehindert. Die Meldung lautet Win32:Evo-gen [Susp]. Ich hab das mal als False Positive gemeldet.
@SPARTACUS Do not blame changelog AdwCleaner I have been using this program since the "Beta" version never had a problem and wish to thank the developer for this program this and Malwarebytes has saved me a lot of bs excespcially dloadin torrent files such as games and software you never know what viruses and malware are hiding in these files . And back to @SPARTACUS your "other perfectly good programs "you say you had with your chrome extensions you should of unchecked them before running clean setting and I believe there is a pop up could be wrong but if my mem serves me right a pop up comes up after scanning files before clean it says pls uncheck files and extensions you wish to keep I always have to do this cause I have a bunch of "PUP" but other first time users pls disregard this person comment I've been using for years and love this program
