Re: How long will this take?

Hello,

We can help you if you share the Scan logfile, usually from C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner[Sxx].txt. You can host it on https://up2sha.re and copy/paste the generated link here.

Best regards,

Re: How long will this take?

Well so much for this program. I had to reboot the computer, after an hour of nothing, and deleted the program. I hope there are no tracking tracers left.

Re: How long will this take?

When i downloaded it I ran a scan and it found 144 issues.hit the clean button and it wouldnt respond to any clicks. That is why im in safe mode now.

How long will this take?

I ran a scan and it found 139 issues. And for 30 mins now, in safe mode, there has been no progress. And i cant click on anything else. Any thoughts? And no I cant send a scan.

Possible F/P

AdwCleaner has stopped me from booting into safe mode

Hi,

I had some unwanted popups the other day and seemed to remove them.

As AdwCleaner is recommended for adware/pups, I thought I'd try it out to see if Malwarebytes found everything.

The scan itself was quick, but the removing part took longer, and when it got to the end it crashed (screen went wonky and discoloured, my disabled avira taskbar icon had a big red x through it) and restarted. ...

Re: AdwCleaner can't remove Program Files (x86)\MPC Cleaner

on AdwCleaner by ****

Have now run CCleaner to clean Registry and remove many, but not all, references to BrowserAir.

Windows: Settings: System: Default apps: Choose default applications by file type: .htm no longer shows BrowserAir.

AdwCleaner can't remove Program Files (x86)\MPC Cleaner

on AdwCleaner by ****

I got infected with loads of adware after trying to install SUPER file converter.

I have run Windows Defender to remove trojans and a malware installer.

Whichever Prinicpal I give Full Control, there is always some other Principal's permission lacking to delete Program Files (x86)\MPC Cleaner.

Running AdwCleaner isn't managing to do so either.  Log file: https://up2sha.re/file?f=4pnRQn2e5du8...

Re: AdwCleaner 6.0 registry threats

Hello,

You can uncheck the two first elements (FWToolsForSOHLib.FWToolsAsSOHLibVersion & FWToolsForSOHLib.FWToolsAsSOHLibVersi.1), but you can safely remove the four others, they belong to malicious elements.

Best regards,

Entry Point EVP_CIPHER_CTX_set_padding not found

I have had previous versions of adwcleaner and they have worked before up until some point (I can't remember the version that it stopped working). Anytime I try to run the program, entry point not found pops up along with *SQLite3.dll cannot be loaded. Please help.

Also, no I am not on acid either, just a username I like to use.
