I clicked on a springfiles virus searching for "modensa cot instructions". Doh!

My first clean has the following log. I have cleaned several times since and it says I am clean. But I am still getting lots of redirects and occasional Chrome freezing whilst I am asked to call the Microsoft certified technician.

It becomes unresponsive during 'Searching for generic elements'.

Can you run this specific AdwCleaner version : http://sd-1.archive-host.com/membres/up/17959594961240255/AdwCleaner.exe

Just run a scan. Then you will have a file called "generic.log" inside C:\AdwCleaner. Please post it's content on http://pastebin.com/ and give me the link. It will be easier to read than the previous one :-)

Vous indiquez dans le titre du sujet "ne finit pas le scan" , mais pourtant le rapport de debug indique le contraire :

Il ne s'agirait donc pas d'un bug à proprement parler, mais plutôt d'un "freeze" du scan au moment de la recherche générique ? Pouvez-vous me le confirmer ?

"Searching for generic detections" means that AdwCleaner will search for folders / registry elements that matches a specific pattern or have a specific behavior.

All strings will be updated for v5.037.
