I have the same issue. I downloaded it from both Bleeping computers and here.
Let run almost 7 hours, then had to kill it through task manager.... Tried running program and uninstalling and restarting, but that didn't help either.
Any thoughts on this?
I have use other versions of adwcleaner, and they all worked fine.

I miseed the previous post about 5.034 being slow. Just did a fresh download/install and got the same results.

Adwcleaner 5.033 completes a scan on my XP SP3 PC in under 3 minutes.
Adwcleaner 5.034 runs nice up until scanning browsers and then takes about 8 more minutes to complete. Browers I have installed are IE, Firefox and Chrome.
I'm really starting to think that I'm ignored on purpose...

Je veux formater le disque D de mon ordinateur. Mais je n'arrive pas à supprimer certains programmes installés. Le système Windows me dit que ces programmes sont en cours exécutés et qu'il est impossible de les supprimer. Mais en fait, je ne les lance pas. J'ai une doute s'il y a des programmes qui permettent de supprimer tout d'un disque. Connaissez-vous ce genre de logiciel ? Merci ...
sinon, rien n'apparait dans malwarebytes et SpyHunter se lance au démarrage alors qu'il a disparu des programmes installés (j'ai essayé de le déinstaller...).

j'ai aussi des soucis avec un SW supposé nettoyer les malwares SpyHunter et un autre RegHunter qui doit réparer les registres. Impossible de les désinstaller... Ras le bol des PCs :-(
