Seems to come up as a false positive and removes some things from registry after a scan having the Astrill app for their VPN service. So, it's a DNS issue.. It's strange that only Edge is impacted.

We'll remove the cached files from Edge, and then reset the network configuration if needed :

1. Launch Edge,
2. Click on the top-right "..." to show the menu.
3. Settings
4. Delete navigation data - choose the elements to remove
5. Check all, except "Passwords"
6. Delete

Quit Edge, restart it : does it work ?

Great ! I reproduced the problem. It's due to Rox Player, which is really tendancious (showings random ads, not updated for a quite long time...).

I added the detections to AdwCleaner, and we'll remove it manually there.

Download the file fixlist.txt and save it as "fixlist.txt" to the Desktop or where FRST is located.

NOTE. It's important that both files, FRST/FRST64 and fixlist.txt...

• Download DelFix from Xplode on your desktop.
