MemoryCleaner 1.7.0 adds Standard and Advanced settings views, named cleanup presets, and an integrated background cleanup pipeline.
- Standard mode provides a simpler view for everyday use. Advanced mode retains all cleanup and tray settings; existing settings keep their full view on upgrade.
- Save, preview, apply, replace and delete cleanup presets without starting cleanup. Automatic cleanup remains limited to process working sets.
- Optional system file-cache, low-priority/full standby and modified-page operations use a temporary authenticated elevated helper. All are off by default.
- Process exclusions, automatic cleanup enable/pause, interval scheduling, a configurable hotkey and tray indicators share the same cleanup guard and settings.
- CLI requests can reach the running tray agent and return structured status/results. Persistent logs retain per-operation outcomes, errors, timing and observed memory changes.
- Settings save in the background with atomic writes, backups and recovery feedback. Installer upgrades coordinate with the running tray and preserve user settings.
