Finally, with version 4.104, I get prompted to download the latest version, which has not been working since versions 4 and up have been released. Now updated to version 4.105.

my adw cleaner said it was out of date so i downloaded a newer version but problems occurred and my anti virus blocked it as it was seen as a threat to my computer i was really impressed with this tool now i am unable to use it hope you can give me some feedback as how i can remedy this problem so i may go on using your product
In ADWCleaner V4.104**** English version*** and previous versions, the "Firefox" and "Chrome" tabs display column headers in French, other tabs display in English. Please fix.

Problème récurrent, les dernières version ne contiennent pas les bonnes propriétés (ProductName, CompanyName) dans l'executable, reconnu comme Aut2Exe.
Adwcleaner is detecting speedbit video downloader as a malware. @cocochepeau Merci de votre réponse. J'ai bien vérifié les paramètres de mon firewall. Tout est OK. La vérification des mises à jour fonctionne avec la version 3 mais pas avec la version 4 de AdwCleaner.

Je l'utilise avec XP Pro et depuis quelques versions maintenant, je ne suis plus averti qu'il y a une nouvelle version disponible, de sorte que je dois vérifier moi-même sur le site. Pourquoi ?

For those complaining about XP compatibility, I'm a XP Pro user and I can confirm AdwCleaner is fully compatible with XP. Like everybody though, I have had trouble with version 4, but it has been fixed. The latest 4.103, however, shows a little progress bar for loading the database right before opening the program. It also takes a little too long for the scan to run. Other than that, it works.
By the way, why aren't we getting prompted to install the latest version anymore?
And, I really miss when the program would update without having to download a new .exe file.
