Hi, thanks for responding.

Well that should be good news!

Is the log file the same as the application file in Malwarebytes? It is not very detailed....

Here is the last file of the last scan I did (of several):

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware www.malwarebytes.org

Hello,

The logfile seems to be complete, it means that the clean process has been successful, without crashing. Also, I do not see any deleted elements related to safe-mode.

Can you also share the Malwarebytes logfile ?

Best regards,

AdwCleaner has stopped me from booting into safe mode

dans AdwCleaner par fixit

Hi,

I had some unwanted popups the other day and seemed to remove them.

As AdwCleaner is recommended for adware/pups, I thought I'd try it out to see if Malwarebytes found everything.

The scan itself was quick, but the removing part took longer, and when it got to the end it crashed (screen went wonky and discoloured, my disabled avira taskbar icon had a big red x through it) and restarted. ...

Fortunately, I kept backups of CCleaner's registry deletions, some of which are clearly nothing to do with this adware:

MBAM later found StartGo123, which had been hijacking Chrome.

I imagine the malware writers reading our conversation and learning too, but HTH.

AdwCleaner can't remove Program Files (x86)\MPC Cleaner

dans AdwCleaner par ****

I got infected with loads of adware after trying to install SUPER file converter.

I have run Windows Defender to remove trojans and a malware installer.

Whichever Prinicpal I give Full Control, there is always some other Principal's permission lacking to delete Program Files (x86)\MPC Cleaner.

Running AdwCleaner isn't managing to do so either.  Log file: https://up2sha.re/file?f=4pnRQn2e5du8...

I'm getting really frustrated now...

How come I always get threats? I make sure I visit barely any websites other than YouTube and I still get threats sometimes. Here's the log: https://up2sha.re/file?f=3KxbxlF0CqqX

What is this and how can you get something like this?  After using the internet, I got a warning from Malwarebytes that a malicious website has been blocked: piroga.space

Adwcleaner successfully removed the things li...
