Have you tried uninstalling the app?
First, uninstall the app. Then reboot the PC. after that reinstall the app and update it.
If this doesn't solve the issue then raise a support ticket with the support centre and get the issue resolved.

I tried using AdwCleaner version 7.0.3.1, but every time it stopped working.
I already tried "Mode > Debug", "Database > Local", Uninstalled AdwCleaner and running it as admin.
I'm using Windows 10 Pro with Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2018 (no warnings from Bitdefender).

Using the recovery boot tool and it came up perfectly, I went to the Drive that I needed to look at. It indicated the directory or file was corrupted and I would like to know if there is any way to rebuild it. I am trying to save pictures located on the HD for a friend as the PC (desktop) failed. This folder has been installed on march.
Vulkan runtime libraries come from NVidia drivers. As they appear useless for me I uninstalled them on my 4 PC's.

The same thing happens to me. I have tried at least 20 times, sometimes is fails after 70%, sometimes after 10%, sometmes after 50%...but it always fails no matter what. Tried from different places, always the same - download failed, file incomplete. If I could download backwards, and then stich the parts together... xD
