the current version (adwcleaner_7.0.3.1.exe) will not run on windows 10 64 bit. A user account control message in a window states it has been blocked by an administrator. All installs seem to be blocked.

Comme indique dans la description, cette version fonctionne sous 32 et 64 bits, pour Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10. Elle fonctionne aussi sous Vista et Windows Server, mais ces derniers ne sont pas officiellement supportes pour le moment.
Je viens de voir que la version AdwCleaner 7000 n'est plus pour XP mais qu'à partir de Windows 7
Donc pour les détendeurs d'XP nous n'aurons plus de mise à jour ?
Sympa, ça dénote bien ce que je disais à propos de Malwarebytes, il suffit qu'on devienne minoritaire pour que tout le monde s'en fiche.

After using the program for so long, it stops measuring the data. Although I watch YouTube videos, Face or download a movie, the application marks 0kb and does not display an active graphic. In some occasions the problem is solved by re-installing, but there comes a moment that does not work since it does not measure traffic or anything.
I am having a most difficult time trying to figure out how to get the text to show up on AdwCleaner, especially in the options and maybe under the pictures on the main Adwcleaner page as no files or any other options are seen. and I believe the other was the Anti-Rootkit where the text only showed up what it was testing and then the 6 red PUPs found and then i could see the file but it was hit and miss on which buttons to press and missed the restart now closing it out and having to self reboot the computer.
Is there an option with windows 10 that I have to click on to help me see these texts?

I hope this clears up some confusion... Please note that as of the time of writing this message (January - 16th - 2017) Combofix does not currently support windows 10. And hasn't since the release of windows 10. It's unknown if Combofix will ever support windows 10 or not. The supported operating systems are: Windows XP/Vista/7/8.
Now..again,to many similar programs=slows your PC,windows log in,but especially your default Browser because of too much extensions&apps.My Chrome has already the 3 "must have" extensions&apps,and no more...Basta.:)
This is the Best,even maybe better than the main MBAM! This software makes wonder ! I had so many trojans,or another malware and a virus which don't allowed me to even log in in the Windows 7,in safe mode I've installed this and the problem was solved ! Amazing...5 stars!

I used AutoIT to write this program, that's why it's sometimes triggering false positives in some antiviruses. As far as I know, this language really tries to use the core functions of Windows, and I think I read somewhere that it is using the same download function than Internet Explorer.
In a nutshell, that's just triggering an Internet Explorer download via the console.
