Hi Xplode, just wanted to update you with this discussion @ http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/558151/adwcleaner-deleted-system-required-registry-entries/
Les Explico Como Usarlo:
En La Lista Debe Decir Escanear, Limpiar, Reporte y Desinstalar, Solamente Se Puede Seleccionar Escanear, Cuando El Escaneo Esté Completo Se Desbloquearán Otras Opciones, La Que Más Sirve Es Limpiar. AdwCleaner Pedirá Reiniciar El Computador, Cuando Se Vuelva A Prender Saldrá Una Lista De Lo Que Hiciste Y Lo Que Se Borró, Luego Tu Computador Quedará Limpio
Can you please include screenconnect in your ignored processes? Just recently adwcleaner started targeting screen connect for removal. This is one of the most popular remote connection utilities out there so you should be able to ignore it. Their site is screenconnect.com.
Also, I'm surprised so many people are using XP still. I can understand using it on an isolated production system, but for everyone else, I think it's time to move on.
For those complaining about XP compatibility, I'm a XP Pro user and I can confirm AdwCleaner is fully compatible with XP. Like everybody though, I have had trouble with version 4, but it has been fixed. The latest 4.103, however, shows a little progress bar for loading the database right before opening the program. It also takes a little too long for the scan to run. Other than that, it works.
By the way, why aren't we getting prompted to install the latest version anymore?
And, I really miss when the program would update without having to download a new .exe file.
v4.103
bouhahhhhha toujours pas de description des mises à jour ?
Dommage.
I can't run the new adw cleaner version on my pc because I get this AutoIt Error message when opening the file: "Line 2057 (File "G:\adwcleaner_4.102.exe"): Error: Variable must be of type "Object". I use Vista premium 64 bits. Can somebody help? Thank you.
@ben666 Merci pour votre retour, nous allons faire notre possible pour annuler ce blacklistage. En attendant, il suffit de cliquer sur le bouton "Ignorer" lorsque Chrome signale AdwCleaner comme étant un malware potentiel.
Nice software, but sometimes using too much ressources
