Downloaded version 6.020, shut all other programmes, ran adwcleaner "scan" then selected "clean" but it stopped responding on "clean files". Shut programme using Task Manager.
Repeated process, same result.
Rebooted and repeated process. Same result.
Windows Vista. Any ideas?

hi first of all it is very good the program helps me a lot for what I necesito.Yo not use it for what is the subject virus only use it to close all programs and things that I have open when playing games helps me much to free up rAM and speed up the prosesador. But I have problems in Windows 10 to close everything and open the explorer.exe become an error that I do not like to open the explorer.exe again this opens but does not work any of his options to produce ... Now my proposal is this that when closing the processes in your program that put an option to let you close those that you want so you can ensure the explorer.exe process fails when using your program ... I had no problems with this program or windows xP or windows 7, only windows 8 and windows 10 .. in windows 8 the problem is that when you run the program with administrator mode it closes all the processes and programs including explorer.exe manually opening explorer.exe from the program run in administrator mode open properly but do not function menu options or settings windows 8 ... and get a sign saying they can not open the menu settings because explorer.exe is being executed in administrator mode ... what most want is you add the option of that program and want to close the process in your program thanks and see you later.

Apologies a reboot which took a lot longer than usual appears to have unblocked adwcleaner. Perhaps Windows 10 had not fully cleared its update process previously. Adwcleaner is now working as it should.

@fabiolagraeber It's not a bug. Just ignore it. It won't prevent you from downloading AdwCleaner.
@KOPFteam It should be fixed with the latest version of AdwCleaner (6.020).

Depuis la version 5.2, et donc avec la version 6, adwcleaner ne fonctionne plus sur mon PC qui est sous windows Vista editions familiale. Quelqu'un aurait-il une astuce pour le faire fonctionner ? Ai tout essayé : exécuter en tant qu'administrateur, sans, en mode sans échec avec réseau, mode sans échec sans mode réseau. Ai passé d'autres logiciels qui ne détecte rien mais comme celui-ci est le plus efficace et j'aimerai comprendre pourquoi cela ne fonctionne plus

hola gente, tengo un problema con adwcleaner y mi windows 10. cuando trato de instalarlo sale una pantalla de que el sotfware no es puede instalarse. alguien que me pueda ayudar. gracias
Found 41 items in HKLM/Software...but info is in complete,so i don't know if they're safe to remove or not...it also keeps adding the Sendspace and extensions folders all the time,yet I do know there is no malware in either of those. If these issues don't get fixed,I'll have to stop using the program,rather than screw up my computer by deleting something I may need.
