Depuis la version 5.2, et donc avec la version 6, adwcleaner ne fonctionne plus sur mon PC qui est sous windows Vista editions familiale. Quelqu'un aurait-il une astuce pour le faire fonctionner ? Ai tout essayé : exécuter en tant qu'administrateur, sans, en mode sans échec avec réseau, mode sans échec sans mode réseau. Ai passé d'autres logiciels qui ne détecte rien mais comme celui-ci est le plus efficace et j'aimerai comprendre pourquoi cela ne fonctionne plus
Awesome work! I have a few things to mention though:
AdwCleaner keeps detecting SereneScreen's Marine Aquarium as a problem. This is a legit screensaver I paid for. Please configure it to stop detecting this as a problem. Also HCKU\Software\SlimWare Utilities are not adware / malware or any kind of problem either - it's a program called AVG Driver Updater - it can be downloaded from here: http://www.avg.com/us-en/avg-driver-updater
It's also strange that the AVG PC Tuneup Task Background Maintenance is detected under Scheduled Tasks. AVG PC Tuneup is a legitimate optimization suite that has the to clean registry , temporary files and broken shortcuts and defrag in the background. It's a legit program I installed myself and that can be downloaded from AVG.com.
Other than that, it's a great program. PLEASE:
1. Provide a "Send Feedback / Report incorrect detections" option in the program.
2. Provide the option to have an exclusion list and exclude incorrect detections from being re-detected in future scans, as unchecking every single detail in every single tab gets tiresome.

A la fin du scan est-ce qu'on peut tout nettoyer car je ne sais pas forcément à quoi correspond chaque service/fichier/dossier and co, et j'ai peur de supprimer des choses qu'il ne faut pas (comme j'ai pu lire dans certains commentaires...)

Version 6.0. After scanning, Adwcleaner finds in the Chrome tab: Value: "startup_url" and data "hxxp://search.conduit.com/...". Although I select the Clean button, this value and data remain after the cleaning process and reboot.
A window dialog popped out, title: "AutoIt Error". Shows an error icon and an OK button, and it says:
"Line 10549 (File "С:\AdwCleaner 6.000.exe"):
Error: Variable used without being declared."
When "OK" button clicked, the main window "AdwCleaner - v6.000 - ToolsLib" just closed, in other words AdwCleeaner.exe suddenly killed with hundreds threats left uncleaned.
I wonder it getting fixed on the next version, thank you.

The problem remains< Hao169 malware still changes the default page back to hao169.cn through the shortcut manipulation< i tried every malware tool even spyhunter and it didn't work.

Bonsoir, j'ai téléchargé AdwCleaner v.5.100, et j'ai du la désinstaller. Cette nouvelle version :
_ s'installe en anglais, on ne peut changer la langue.
_ s'installe en français, mais bloquée en anglais, et à l'ouverture d'adwcleaner, la langue est de nouveau en anglais (on ne peut pas changer la langue en français).
De plus, mon antivirus AVG détecte "adwcleaner" comme potentiellement dangereux...
J'ai téléchargé 2 fois cette nouvelle version...
J'attends la suite des corrections de bugs, bonnes continuations.
