Bonjour XPlode
AdwCleaner comporte-t-il le logiciel capable d'éradiquer un Malware du type Edelweiss ? LOL !
Je vous souhaite de joyeuses fêtes de fin d'année dans le bonheur.
I downloaded Adwcleaner today from CNET
I got a warning it was out of date, and was directed to a link for the current version
I downloaded the new Adwcleaner and when I tried installing it,
"Avast Antivirus" gave me this warning:
https://toolslib.net/downloads/finish/1/get/aZ8f/
Infection: Win32:Malware-gen
The file was quarantined:
File Name: dwNRRc3h.exe.part
Virus Description: Win32:Malware-gen
Help!!!
Thanks,
-Rick
Again I will ask and hope for an answer!
Cleaning malware with AdwCleaner in Windows 7 of a friend AdwCleaner didn't delete some tasks named "Rocket Updater" and "APSnotifier...". Everything else was deleted. What to do?
Thank you very much for an answer.
Adwcleaner is detecting the search engine ixquick as malware. This search engine is no malware.
@ThosThos,
I'm using XP, and AdwCleaner has never detected any adware or malware on my computer other than one or two orphan registry entries. How many did AdwCleaner detect on your Windows 7 computer? Oh yeah, 140.... There's a lot more to computing than having the very latest... ;)
Adwcleaner is detecting speedbit video downloader as a malware. This makes it difficult in cleaning other malwares as some of the links might be related to speedbit video downloader. could you check this link and solve the problem (https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/54048-malwarebytes-anti-malware-version-146-erroneously-detects-speedbit-speedbit-video-downloader-as-adwareecobar/). Thank you
Can I just say thanks for AdwCleaner. I had 140 ad-programs clogging my machine. Your software got rid of them fast! Also, a word to the XP users out there. It is a little strange to be using an operating system no longer supported by MS with utilities and security updates - and then complain that an Adware removal program won't work on it! Your computer is a disaster waiting to happen! Please upgrade to Win 7 at least - for your own sake.
Can you please include screenconnect in your ignored processes? Just recently adwcleaner started targeting screen connect for removal. This is one of the most popular remote connection utilities out there so you should be able to ignore it. Their site is screenconnect.com.
Also, I'm surprised so many people are using XP still. I can understand using it on an isolated production system, but for everyone else, I think it's time to move on.
There is a file v3DDNetService.exe located in C:\Windows\System32. This file is used by SpeceDesk, see http://spacedesk.ph/ .
Could you please remove this fle from your list of malware?
