Not getting a response from you about "clean files" hang-up issue previously mentioned.
Note that unchecking "clean files" allow the subsequent cleanup processes to work - but it is unrealistic to do this every time the programme is used as the file "threats" simply remain in place.
ADWCleaner seems a neat utility, but it has to be fully functional to be retained.

hi first of all it is very good the program helps me a lot for what I necesito.Yo not use it for what is the subject virus only use it to close all programs and things that I have open when playing games helps me much to free up rAM and speed up the prosesador. But I have problems in Windows 10 to close everything and open the explorer.exe become an error that I do not like to open the explorer.exe again this opens but does not work any of his options to produce ... I mean I mean that when you open the explorer.exe if everything well but the taskbar in their functions as well as any work that gives me the problem of not being able to access any of the functions of the explorer.exe process that is open vital in the Windows interface will not let me open anything or interact with the start menu absolutely nada..trate to start the task manually with task manager in administrator mode and normal mode but still does not work ... Now my proposal is this that when closing the processes in your program that put an option to let you close those that you want so you can ensure the explorer.exe process fails when using your program ... I had no problems with this program or windows xP or windows 7, only windows 8 and windows 10 .. in windows 8 the problem is that when you run the program with administrator mode it closes all the processes and programs including explorer.exe manually opening explorer.exe from the program run in administrator mode open properly but do not function menu options or settings windows 8 ... and get a sign saying they can not open the menu settings because explorer.exe is being executed in administrator mode ... what most want is you add the option of that program and want to close the process in your program thanks and see you later.

@fabiolagraeber It's not a bug. Just ignore it. It won't prevent you from downloading AdwCleaner.
@KOPFteam It should be fixed with the latest version of AdwCleaner (6.020).

Awesome work! I have a few things to mention though:
AdwCleaner keeps detecting SereneScreen's Marine Aquarium as a problem. This is a legit screensaver I paid for. Please configure it to stop detecting this as a problem. Also HCKU\Software\SlimWare Utilities are not adware / malware or any kind of problem either - it's a program called AVG Driver Updater - it can be downloaded from here: http://www.avg.com/us-en/avg-driver-updater
It's also strange that the AVG PC Tuneup Task Background Maintenance is detected under Scheduled Tasks. AVG PC Tuneup is a legitimate optimization suite that has the to clean registry , temporary files and broken shortcuts and defrag in the background. It's a legit program I installed myself and that can be downloaded from AVG.com.
Other than that, it's a great program. PLEASE:
1. Provide a "Send Feedback / Report incorrect detections" option in the program.
2. Provide the option to have an exclusion list and exclude incorrect detections from being re-detected in future scans, as unchecking every single detail in every single tab gets tiresome.

AdwCleaner lists Mipony as a Potentially Unwanted Program, aka PUP; however it is not. When installing Mipony Download Manager, it clearly lists other software which will be installed if you do not uncheck the box, just as many other software programs do. Please remove Mipony from your list of PUPs. As is, I have to uncheck all the little boxes every time I run AdwCleaner. Thank you.

I cant get over how well this worked. I am astonished at the time it took, and the efficiency of it. It even cleaned up the rest of left over files of other adwares from years before. If i could meet the people that made this, I would tell them straight up on how well this worked. I barely ever write reviews, but this by far deserved a good review. Thank you very much for this masterpiece of software. i was infected by some kind of zeroaccess. not the original one. the one i have is not to detect with "normal" and promoted methods like tdss killer and similar. i did many research and from the traces i found, i conclude it might be zeroaccess. no one was able to help me until now. not even so called "experts". everyone told me i didnt have any issue. then i ran your program. the log showed anything suspicious i found over the last months. and it directley fixed it. restarting the machine and.. everything gone. i still can not believe it. your a genius man. the only one who could help me. you can be proud of yourself. thank you very much. greetings andi.
