J'ai téléchargé adwcleaner aujourd'hui , il a analysé les fichiers  et il a été bloqué  en plein nettoyage, j'ai eu le temps de noter le messge sur une fenètre qui dit " ***caught unhandled unknown exception; terminating"  . J'ai laissé tourné le pc depuis 1 h mais toujours rien ....Un c...

S'il t'affiche un numéro de téléphone, n'appelle pas (c'est peut-être un peu bête comme conseil mais certains le font et se sont avoir, je ne connais pas ton niveau).

1/

• Télécharge et lance AdwCleaner (de ToolsLib / Malwarebytes), choisis l'option Analyser.
• Une fois le scan terminé, choisis l'option Nettoyer.
• Redémarre le PC comme demandé, héberge le rapport sur pjjoint.malekal...

Mon pc est infecté par les 3 virus cités ci dessus (j'ai eu cette info par une fenêtre qui s'est ouverte et qui me dit que windows est endommagé!) . Les fichiers infectés : syn32/hidden/Xsnake.ex....Que me conseillez-vous ?

I installed the other 'some' tool and while installig this other tool my windows 7 box got infected with

'lavasoft web companion'

obivouly my first weapon of choice was to pick up a new vesion of adwcleaner.

 However the currenct version 7.0.4.0 seems of have problems removing the above named spyware.

However I partialy managed to remove some elements of lavasoft web companion....

Adwcleaner ne veut pas nettoyer les pups que j'ai. Il fige et il ne fait rien. Quoi faire pour désinfecter mon ordi. J'ai tout désinstallé du navigateur MAXTHON. Il reste encore beaucoup de traces. Je ne sais plus quoi faire pour supprimer tout ça.  J'ai supprimé les traces dans le pare-feu de Norton. Et je ne sais plus quoi faire. Aidez moi SVP?

I already answered that AdwCleaner is intended only to clean adware and nothing more independently what system is infected – XP or newer. To do more with curing - there are many other tools like AVZ (or other from Autologger pack), FRST etc. So it is inappropriately to say that AdwCleaner not support XP because it couldn’t cure more than simply adware in it. Yes.

I wrote back in August to fr33tux and sent him screens with explanations on how to add XP support to your project. So for now it seems like a MBAM PR action that you don't want to realize such support (though you can).  

It's not a question of technical difficulty, it's a choice to not support an OS no longe...

No response in TWO days!

It sure would be nice if this could finally be fixed. It appears these problems with AdwCleaner and PUP.Optional.Legacy and PUP.Optional.AdvancedSystemCare  listings have been going on since the release of v. 7 months ago. The reply always seems to be . "Thanks for the details. We'll look into it". or "it will be fixed with the next update"
