@Rufus415 : Yes, this pop-up informs you that nothing has been found, so nothing will be shown in the logfile nor in the software's interface.

We should indeed hide the message asking to uncheck if the pop-up is shown.

adwcleaner 5.0.2.8 will not run on my windows xpsp3 computer..

here is what "windows events" shows:

check internet explorer's settings, assuming that you are using "internet explorer", and see if "toolslib.net" has been added to IE's "restricted sites" zone.. if so, you will need to remove it from the list of "restricted sites"..

don't ask me how it was added to IE's "restricted sites" zone.. i don't know..

or, it is possible that microsoft has a blocklist for IE where the download is being...

When I try to download AdwCleaner I get A pop up that says :

Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded.

AdwCleaner found folder C:\Ap and removed the folder and everything underneath it.  It's a foldershare for one of our customer servers.  Not sure why it would be detected as malware?

1. Delfix a fait 4 choses :
   1. Réactiver l'UAC, c'est à dire le contrôle du mode administrateur. Petite explication rapide : Pour effectuer des modifications sur le système, toi ou un logiciel doit disposer des droits admninistrateur, si l'UAC n'est pas activé, il les as d'office, ce qui est dangereux. Par contre, quand il est activé, tu as droit à un pop-up te demandant si tu souhaites ...
