So nobody can tell me why the newly released update to 7.0.8.0 will not download to my PC.  Is this update even real?  Malwarebytes release history does not mention anything other than 7.0.7.0. ANYBODY?????

AdwCleaner 7.0.8.0 released today, continues to crash during startup heuristic phase per above.

Used current Chrome with IDM - same message:

"IDM started to download the file using one connection because of data corruption when newly received data in several connections did not match the same data downloaded earlier. Do you want to read about possible reasons of data corruption?"

Of all the things I download from all the sites I visit, this (AdwCleaner from ToolsLib.net) is the only one...

Are you able to try with another web browser?

Dell Win 7 32b, iE 11, IDM - all current.  ToolsLib, downloading AdwCleaner, is the only time/place I've seen this issue reported, consistently.

The decison in Version 3, Malwarebytes became to bloaty & buggy. I see people running Version 2 on Windows 7.

Now the decsion to end JRT with no more updates. Running JRT 8.14, everytime it manually creates a restore point for you. I have a HD/SSD, works fine for Restore Point. Create a restore point right now, is for right now.

Reset This PC with Keep My Files, Applications needing reinstall...

I don't use Malwarebytes after the huge changes. Count on Adw, JRT,  & MBAE. I hope you live long, so Corporate won't take control.
