Hello,
Sorry for the delay. Please relaunch Roguekiller and do a [clean]. Then, please share the logfile as above.
Best regards,
Thanks.
I've run adwcleaner multiple times and I keep getting a threat detected in HKLM/Software/Description. After adwcleaner cleans and reboots and I rerun it, it keeps showing up the detection. I have manually looked in the registry and cannot find that folder. Hidden files/folder is set to show everything. I have run rkill, tsskiller and mbam which do not find this.
how can I remove this since...
I had to ran Roguekiller first in the safe mode . and I have to remove all found malware/adware and reboot the system after Roguekiller was asking me to do it . but when I have in the safe mode all malware and adware that I removed it is still in there and there was nothing in Quarantine ! and I had once again to run it this time in normal mode and Roguekiller have found those malware ithem and...
Yes, it shows nothing. I've tried many malware removal software and most of them show nothing. But adwcleaner and roguekiller still show the UCGuard. And I can't delete it with them
the problem is that it actually found the ucguard.sys.. and then it asked me to restart the computer to remove it but it is still there

that bad news ! I just to ran Roguekiller and I will see what report ! did you ran a scan with your AV ?
which mode did you ran Roguekiller ? normal or safe mode ?
So I was really happy that roguekiller found ucguard.sys.. was suposed to remove it but I scanned with adwcleaner and it's still there.. This UCGuard is really annoying, ffs..
I have the same problem today . and I had to use Roguekiller to remove UCGuard and others services that adwcleaner was unable to remove them ! have you yet try out Roguekiller ?
No problem! I appreciate all the work you guys do on this for the community! ADWCleaner beats a LOT of paid programs :)
I'll go ahead and kill the items manually for now, and I'll keep an eye out for new releases!
I'm happy to help in any way I can; code review, testing, etc. Let me know if I can help!
Hello,
Ok. I'll dig deeper in this direction, it's something that should be improved with the second CLI release (not the coming one, but the one after).
Sorry for the inconvenience, but thanks for the feedback,
