I tried running ADW Cleaner but it stops / freezes and I have to use the task manager to close it down.

Want to attach image of pop up window but do not know how to attach to this post.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the reason could be?

When I scan my laptop by AdwCleaner 7, in the middle working, it shows a window: "*** Caught unhandled unknown exception, terminating." and then hanging up. What's wrong with it?

Beta version still detects the second result (as the regular version), as well as new entries...

the bera 7.0.1 up to now DID NOT fix the issues in quarantine and registry's file events

..just to let you know..

hope that the new stable not beta one for mondaw will be able to...
