Do you have the latest version installed? Have you tried the newest beta update of AdwCleaner? Kind of curious how in this case internet is affecting scan results.

Not sure, it seems like lately a lot of people are experiencing crashes on older systems. Windows 10 doesn't have issues as far as I am aware. But it's not about Win10. Could you try running a beta version and see if that helps? Just click on the beta, choose the latest version, download and run. Keep us updated.

Have you had any other success determining the issue? Have you tried first scanning with Malwarebytes and then AdwCleaner afterward? What OS are you running and which version? Because that might cause an issue with compatibility (Very rare case). Try launching the application in the admin mode? This guide also has more info about compatibility, IF it is the issue. Speculating at this point. Let...

J'ai le même problème concernant la version obsolète! J'ai passé outre et j'ai tout de même scanné. PUP.Optional.Legacy a été détecté. J'ai laissé Adwarcleaner continuer pour le supprimer. Mon ordi a redémarré. J'ai de nouveau relancé la beta 7.0.1.0 afin de controlé si ce PUP a été nettoyé. Et bien non, il ressort de nouveau. Que se passe-t-il avec ce logiciel qui fonctionnait tr...

Cela devient difficile, voire impossible d'utiliser ce logiciel, qui comme dit plus haut était très facile et efficace jusqu'à présent.

When I scan my laptop by AdwCleaner 7, in the middle working, it shows a window: "*** Caught unhandled unknown exception, terminating." and then hanging up. What's wrong with it?

J'ai téléchargé la 7.0.1.0 beta, et il m'est annoncé que j'ai téléchargé une version obsolète..? Comment sortir de cette situation?

Beta version still detects the second result (as the regular version), as well as new entries...
