Même cas que @bodisson et même message d'erreur, les autres versions fonctionnaient bien sour XP pro 32bits mais la version 5.020 ne s'ouvre pas.

Mine "adwcleaner_5.020"  stops shortly after the cleaning starts.

adwcleaner5.019 vient de me proposer la mise à jour vers la version 5.020 , ce que j'ai fait , seulement je me retrouve avec un message d'erreur windows

J'ai re-téléchargé plusieurs fois cette version ici puis sur bleepingcomputer mais rien n'y fait.

Par contre si je reviens à la version 5.019 (en annulant la mise à jour) , ça fonctionne et ne me trouve pas ...

Yes, so it was a problem with an unregistered DLL on your computer. I will keep this command in case someone faces the same problem.

Ok, I don't really know why it doesn't create this file but .. anyway, I will put a fix in v5.020 for this error. Thanks again for your help.

This time the program did not find any malicious files and no error sign. This time it generated the log file you mentioned, it seems very huge so I uploaded it to the same place as last time.

Hi,

In fact there is an error with a COM module that your computer doesn't seem to have / find. Instead of making the program crashes when it can't find this module, I just bypass it and the scan can complete.

Moreover, you should have a file called "COMError.log" located at C:\AdwCleaner, can you post it's content ?
