Please do as follow:
Wait until it crashes. Then, just close AdwCleaner through the Task manager. A debug logfile should be available here: C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner_Debug.log.

I just DL adwcleaner but during installation it stops and displays catastrophic error. Then I have to go into the tast manager to stop adwcleaner. Any suggestions?

I recently used Adwcleaner to get rid of some ad pop ups from my chrome browser. After restarting the computer none of programs work at all. I tried running any exe file by right clicking on the and running as admin but nothing happens. Task manager also doesn't work.

Edit: just for clarification I can only use a program when I select a file. For example...

When the computer is restarted A C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe propmt window appears with the following 2 lines repeated about 20 times
ERROR: Invalid key name.

Google FreeFixer, download and install it, then disconnect from the Internet, close your browser and run it. It will find the ucguard.sys file and tick the box to remove it (run Fix).
