As a business we use LogMeIn (LMI) to remotely access customers machine to help with various issues.

Today we have found that ADWC is now highlighting that LMI is a threat in the "Services" tab and if not un-ticked will kill/end any remote session once a clean and a restart done.

Is there anything you can do to stop this?

Same problem, in my case adw 6.0 reports 18  win7  services as threats, "faux possitifs??" , but  after adw clean and restart win7, the 18 threat services are not deleted...repeated the scan -clean and restart several times with the same results.

Pitty to say this is the first time this nice and excellent adw  program i´m using since its first versions behaves this way.

hier soir Avira m'a signalé le blocage d'une menace Candy... après que j'ai tenté de télécharger un logiciel permettant de récupérer une vidéo via Veoh.

La menace a été mise en quarantaine.

Suite à cette menace j'ai décidé de vérifier mon PC avec AdwCleaner. Il a trouvé 3 menaces à l'analyse. Au nettoyage, il en a supprimé une sur trois.

Je l'ai repassé à nouveau au scan et au netto...

Can you help, admins? AdwCleaner has always removed any threat it finds. Today it failed repeatedly to remove these three services it identified as threats. CCleaner, SuperAntiSpyware, Norton, HitMan Pro and Glary all fail to detect anything wrong.

Is this an ADW false positive or if not, how do I remove & replace the services permanently if they are infected?

Also I've ran many cleaning softwares such as FRST, Hitmanpro, Malwarebytes, EEK, rKill, Super Antispyware, TDSSKiller, and I even went and did a Combofix scan and nothing popped up on all of those except for ADWCleaner so it must be a false detection.

This is my first time using AdwCleaner. I am not sure where these services are and how to delete them manually.

The box I get is similar to above, but mine is cut off immediately above "Results".

You need to host it somewhere (for instance on https://up2sha.re , then copy the link and use it with the "insert image" button on the forum text editor.

Actually, I logicaly figured out to go into Chrome settings -> Search engines and delete Ask.com and Aol.com.

I'm kind of surprised that ADC wasn't able to do that.

Thanks for fixing the remote session disconnect in 6.0.10.

Hello,

1) Just ran ADWCleaner 6,0. It detected AOL.COM and ASK.COM in Chrome. I chose CLEAN but after a reboot its still there?

Can you share the scan logfile ? (from C:\AdwCleaner\ usually)

2) ADWC always kills my remote UltraVNC session when I hit CLEAN.  Any way to prevent this?
