I ran into the same problem. Below is a snippet of the cleaning log.

...I receive the same error message except mine is Line 10570. Running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit.
I STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.
BY THE WAY I TRIED EVERYTHING YOU TOLD ME TO DO and it still doesnt work.
Every time I do a new scan it says "you have 2 threats" even if I clicked on the clean tab before.
It doesnt say you have no threats on your computer.
Please help me.

Indeed, if you can't run FRST due to the same error, there's something wrong here.. (AdwCleaner runs on W10).
