Do you have the latest version installed? Have you tried the newest beta update of AdwCleaner? Kind of curious how in this case internet is affecting scan results.

Not sure, it seems like lately a lot of people are experiencing crashes on older systems. Windows 10 doesn't have issues as far as I am aware. But it's not about Win10. Could you try running a beta version and see if that helps? Just click on the beta, choose the latest version, download and run. Keep us updated.

Thanks, but the problem still been there. The AdwCleaner 7.0.1.0 still hangs up!

I tried running ADW Cleaner but it stops / freezes and I have to use the task manager to close it down.

Want to attach image of pop up window but do not know how to attach to this post.

J'ai le même problème concernant la version obsolète! J'ai passé outre et j'ai tout de même scanné. PUP.Optional.Legacy a été détecté. J'ai laissé Adwarcleaner continuer pour le supprimer. When I scan my laptop by AdwCleaner 7, in the middle working, it shows a window: "*** Caught unhandled unknown exception, terminating." and then hanging up. What's wrong with it?
