Can you try again, but this time launching AdwCleaner through the Downloads folder?

Note that even if AdwCleaner itself (the executable) is still present, the AdwCleaner folder (located at C:\AdwCleaner) should be removed when you click Uninstall.

About the notification by email, we've had some issues recently but it's now fixed.

Hi, no, it is located in E:\ , I never had it in Download folder. Yes, I downloaded 7.2.7.0 from toolslib site, the app work well; only since 7.2.6.0 the "remove" botton has no effects. I can update it by simply manually deleting it, but this remove botton shows that there is a problem. Its is strange. PS. only in this moment I received the notification email of your replies.

Where is AdwCleaner located when you try to "uninstall" it? Is it inside the Downloads folder?

Hi, what to do to get the "Remove" botton working? have I to delete manually the files before upgrading? thanks. PS: issue arised in 7.2.6.0.

Remove botton. 1) pc1: no messages from Comodo > Remove botton works well; 2) pc2: messages from Comodo, I click on Allow as Safe application > Remove botton doesnt work, nothing happens.

Problem fully resolved by doing: Comodo > Applications> right click > "Unlock %temp% folder: uninstall.bat". ok!

PS: Comodo deleted your adwcleaner.exe when trying to copy it into a pendrive marking it as Ma...

May or may not be a Clean_DNS  problem but since the day of installing Clean_DNS the Windows\Start icon in bottom left of Win 10 screen is a mess, ie left clicking on it shows all options but lets you go/click no further on any of them. If I right click the Start icon though most of those options work, but Search won't work. Anyone any idea how to correct this scenario? Again, I say it may not ...
