Can you tick the option "Activate the debug mode" before clicking on "Clean" ? Then, you should get a logfile in C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner_dbg_xxxxxx.log - can you copy/paste it here when it freezes ?

Pouvez-vous me fournir le rapport généré par AdwCleaner ? (normalement dans C:\AdwCleaner).

Ensuite, téléchargez RegToolExport, lancez-le, puis copiez-collez le texte suivant dans le champ de texte de la fenêtre :

HKU\S-1-5-21-3377673242-542393793-3397585012-1000\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchScopes\{ielnksrch}

Cliquez sur "Exporter" puis enregistrez le fichier sur vo...

Cela fait 10 jours qu'une barre de recherche vient se greffer sous la barre d'outils de Chrome et toutes les 3 minutes, une fenêtre de pub apparait. Donc comme je fais toujours; j’utilise AdwCleaner et jusqu’à présent c'est très efficace.

Aujourd'hui après une demi-douzaine d'essais, pas de résultat et en plus AdwCleaner "ne répond pas" devant :

Thanks!!! ... for any reason the database didn't update itsself the last days after activating the "Scan" button ... but now it worked and the tracing key disappeared

For you folks probably a simple question: how do I get the latest database update?

it's not related to AdwCleaner's version, you need to get the latest database updates.
