Unfortunately, UpdateStar Driver is tendancious. A recent analysis of the setup still shows that it bundles PUP. (for example : http://www.herdprotect.com/drivers.exe-9655a4ccf88f7cd59f6e4830087e40658c3604c6.aspx )

AdwCleaner falsely reports several items related to the tools UpdateStar and UpdateStar Drivers. Here is an excerpt from a log file:

1. Peux-tu vérifier que chez toi (il se trouve sur ton bureau) le fichier UsbFix_Report.txt fini avec cette ligne :

Ran the version you provided Xplode. Still does the BSOD. Here's the debug:

I would like to report a bug or an issue I've been having with the latest version of adwcleaner 5.105.  I work at a university and have been assisting with malware removal and typically part of the process, we run adwcleaner since it usually does a fantastic job at removing adware.  Essentially we ran into the issue where after running adwcleaner the internet would no longer work.  Afte...

Hier soir, après insertion d'une vieille clé usb dans mon portable fraichement remis à neuf (drivers et soft up to date) mon wifi et mon antivirus se sont fait shooté. L'antivirus en question est antivir. Je tourne sur win7. J'ai tenté le scan en ligne (la connexion en hotspot USB fonctionne) ne donne rien et le live USB non plus. I clicked on a springfiles virus searching for "modensa cot instructions". Doh!

My first clean has the following log. I have cleaned several times since and it says I am clean. But I am still getting lots of redirects and occasional Chrome freezing whilst I am asked to call the Microsoft certified technician.
