Mine "adwcleaner_5.020"  stops shortly after the cleaning starts.

Hi,

In fact there is an error with a COM module that your computer doesn't seem to have / find. Instead of making the program crashes when it can't find this module, I just bypass it and the scan can complete.

Moreover, you should have a file called "COMError.log" located at C:\AdwCleaner, can you post it's content ?

I just ran the file it gives this error which is a bit different than the others:

AutoIt Error Line 549

Error: Varaible must be of type "object"

I don't really know what could cause this kind of bug. It's probably due to the configuration of your computer. But we can try debugging it if you have the time.

Howdy, I sent the author of bloody vikings your way a while back. I'm here today because two extensions I regularly use are being detected by adwcleaner.

App Error: Instruction in "0x0041eeaa" reference to mem in "0x02031000", can't "read". OK to end program.

Version 5.016 works ok. By the way, when one accepts to DL new version the old one gets deleted, thats annoying, (because if by any reason DL is not succesful or as in this case, new program doesn't work, it's imposible to return to older version). Old version should be renamed to adwclean...
