Hello Adwcleaner forum,
I recently used Adwcleaner to get rid of some ad pop ups from my chrome browser. After restarting the computer none of programs work at all. I tried running any exe file by right clicking on the and running as admin but nothing happens. Task manager also doesn't work.
Please help
Edit: just for clarification I can only use a program when I select a file. For example...
Eveyrtime I run AdwCleaner it keeps finding the same 57 PcProxy related errors. Can anyone help please.

When the computer is restarted A C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe propmt window appears with the following 2 lines repeated about 20 times
ERROR: Invalid key name.
Type "REG DELETE /?" for usage

When AdwCleaner freezes (Not Responding) its usually caused by the service ucguard which it finds, but can't remove. Google FreeFixer, download and install it, then disconnect from the Internet, close your browser and run it. It will find the ucguard.sys file and tick the box to remove it (run Fix). ADWCleaner deleted a folder saved on my desktop. As per suggestions on this thread, I ran the Quarantine Manager to restore the files. It worked. Files restored and my pc is much faster now after Ive deleted all those adware.

I created new firefox profile using Profile Manager, then I copied all files fromt the old profile to the new one. AdwCleaner did not detect any suspicious files in that new profile folder, so I guess I'm good?

But now we stepped into a problem. An urgently needed folder was deleted. In quarantine-manager nothing is listed to recover in files (it worked for registry-keys). We found the folder on our System where it was before but with very special rights. So we are not in the position to recover the folders and files and bring them up to work.

as I just scan your tool with virustotal.com it is turns out that your tool is a Trojan and ?! so I can not say anything other then your tool is scanning the system very slowly and it taked up too much ram and the scan never done ! also your tool it is created Several processes in the Task Manager which make the screen/other...
