I downloaded and ran AdwCleaner on my wife's computer after some suspicious activity to rule out an infection. All it found was: 'Key Found : HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\DOMStorage\d23716qn9q7omq.cloudfront.net' 'Key Found : HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\DOMStorage\dotomi.com'
I had it remove those keys, now when launching Edge it will not load...
Although AdwCleaner detects mntemp as being a folder, it is actually an extensionless file. I don't see any other signs of SearchProtect on my PC. A couple of days ago i downloaded adwcleaner and i worked very good. Only 1 unwanted program he didn't remove (MPC Cleaner) the program found it but didn't removed it. I hope you can do something with this information. Sorry for my bad English.
