Currently AdwCleaner deletes only Winsock2 orphan entries ( the ones that points to a files that has been deleted ). It also does a "netsh winsock reset" but I don't think this last command can break the internet connection.
Do you have AdwCleaner's cleaning logfile ? Can you post it here ?

Hi, I have used Adwcleaner to get rid of some ads on my computer. After the restart, my computer couldn't connect to Wi-Fi, open control panel and numerous other things. I'm not sure if it has deleted some critical system files or something.

What do you mean by "exit the program" ? Do you click on "Uninstall" or just exit the program with the red cross? If you use "Uninstall", AdwCleaner will delete itself so it's normal if there are no trace of it.

sorry for late reply actually i dont use any antivirus (my bad) but when i browse some website, albireo ads shows up, and its annoying. i thought its can be delete from adwcleaner but it couldnt

#...With new version I am getting a folder C:user\Ed\AppData\Local\Steam\htmlcache . This is a temp folder so I delete the folder an all files in it and still when steam runs again it comes up . I then delete everything in it and still get error below .
