Just bumped into this issue while trying to run Adw onto my W8.1 machine.

- tried to do as error message say deleted al the versions I found in my machine

- tried to run again I always get the same error

Hello, thanx for your response, but you didn't understand the reason of my ask correctly.

I have already used Adwcleaner, but I wondered whether the registry entries to delete are really harmful. What's the danger of this?

I clicked on a springfiles virus searching for "modensa cot instructions". Doh!

My first clean has the following log. I have cleaned several times since and it says I am clean. But I am still getting lots of redirects and occasional Chrome freezing whilst I am asked to call the Microsoft certified technician.

Si  je  désinstalle tout  de  suite Karpeski;,  je n'aurai  plus  d'anti virus , (n'est ce pas  dangereux  et  irraisonnable  ? )    d'autant  que  la version  que  je  possédé  n'a   que  4  jours   et   est une  version  d'essai (  je ne  pourrai peut   être   ré installer par  la  suite  .. , ) , de plus sur  les   différents  anti  virus...

We'll try to use MBAM hoping it will remove all elements I found in the logfile. Otherwise, we'll remove them "manually" :

• Download MalwareBytes Anti Malware here.
• Launch MalwareByte's Anti Malware from your desktop
• Click on the tab Settings -> Detection & Protection -> PUP/PUM and check "Treat these detections like malware".
• Tab Exam choose Threats, clic...

Can you download the previous version again? I updated it. Delete the file "generic.log" before running it. Then do a scan, and post the content of the new generic.log file which will be created ( pastebin link )
