Can you launch AdwCleaner, click on Tools > Options. In the "Mode" section, ensure "debug" is selected.

Then, do a scan and a clean. When the freeze occurs, reboot and share the logfile in C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner_Debug.log.

I try to oen ADW and get "unspecified error"

HELP!?!

Basically I picked up a nasty piece of malware a while ago. I downloaded this to get rid of it. Yet every time I clicked on clean, to get rid of all that junk, the program says its not responding, then my entire pc freezes, prompting me to restart. I have disabled both my antivirus and firewall while running the program.

Il ne s'agit donc pas d'un faux positif, le véritable Firefox étant installé dans le dossier "Mozilla Firefox". Vous pouvez laisser coché la case et lancer le nettoyage.

Je vous demande ensuite un nouveau rapport d'analyse (et non de nettoyage) de Malwarebytes.

Est-ce le réel dossier d'installation de Mozilla Firefox ? Vous pouvez le savoir en faisant un clic-droit sur le logo Firefox puis "Ouvrir l'emplacement du fichier".

Effectivement, il pourrait s'agir d'un faux-positif ici. Ne lancez pas le nettoyage pour l'instant, je reviens vers vous dès que possible.

Essayez de désactiver la protection residente de Panda Cloud puis :

• Vous pouvez relancer AdwCleaner et cette fois-ci lancez le nettoyage. Partagez-moi le rapport généré dans votre prochaine réponse.
• Ensuite, pouvez-vous lancez une nouvelle analyse avec Malwarebytes ? Partagez-moi aussi le rapport généré dans votre prochaine réponse.
