Re: False Positives V7

Since V7 I've been getting false positives on all my machines - often ones reported by others.  I suspect they are down to using SypwareBlaster.  This is an old but quite safe program which puts kill bits in the registry to prevent undesireable stuff running.  I think it would be worth installing SpywareBlaster then "enabling all protection", then see what ADWCleaner makes of it.  Thanks.

Re: AdwCleaner 7.0.1.0

Greetings, hopefully, you can understand English. With the power invested in my by Google Translate, I will attempt to answer your questions. AdwCleaner doesn't install anything since it is a standalone software. If you haven't had any malware or there are no files that need to be quarantined/stored, there will be no reason to create a folder in C disk. Try doing a scan once. It should appear a...

Re: Effacement RFA (Registry First Aid)

Erreur de ma part ! Problème avec version 7010 mais sur un autre ordi.

Mon ordi principal ne détecte pas RFA avec Adwcleaner car j'avais chargé 7020 Beta et il a conservé son programme malgré que je sois revenu à 7010.

Re: More false positives

Hello,

Can you share the whole logfile please? (including the header)

Thanks,

Re: Launchpage infection

Hopefully, you can understand English or google translate this. I know this is an old forum, but since it doesn't have a definitive answer, I'd like to share my experience and a solution. My friend had a similar couple of weeks ago. You are dealing with a redirect virus or some form of adware. Quite annoying really. I have used Malwarebytes and Adwcleaner to elevate the issue alongside these in...

Re: Start\Windows icon

Well, plenty of work there, Josh! I've done virtually them all including Hitman Pro,MBAM, AdwCleaner, CCleaner but no change in anything, still same problem with the Start icon. Just can't wonder what I've done. Oh, and System Restore hasn't worked for months in my Win 10 so downloaded and was using Restore Point Creator which was better, but that nearly alway fails to work. Reformatting is a b...

Start\Windows icon

May or may not be a Clean_DNS  problem but since the day of installing Clean_DNS the Windows\Start icon in bottom left of Win 10 screen is a mess, ie left clicking on it shows all options but lets you go/click no further on any of them. If I right click the Start icon though most of those options work, but Search won't work. Anyone any idea how to correct this scenario? Again, I say it may not ...

Re: Win10PESE startup

Hello,

Since you're booting from a DVD, the 5 minutes boot time seems reasonable. When you boot from this kind of support/device, a lot of things are loaded in the RAM itself. It also depends on the max speed provided by your disk reader.

Are you suggesting I boot from the ISO itself on disk? If so, I don't know how to do that.

I'm pretty sure it isn't doable...
