The new certificate for https://toolslib.net is now online. It is valid from 15/04/2016 to 11/05/2018. We've also published several improvement regarding TLS support on ToolsLib.

ToolsLib switches to Minio for scale and performance

ToolsLib recently switched to a brand new dashboard. However, behind the scenes, there was another switch happening. We used block based filesystem for underlying storage. However, as we grew, the filesystem was proving difficult to scale.
So, we were looking to move from block based storage to an object store system, when we found Minio. After initial analysis, Minio looked perfect for our requirements and we switched to Minio.

As the number of hosted software is increasing a more advanced management system was needed. During the past year we've studied the usage that are made not only on ToolsLib but on several other platforms, and following our conclusions we have published our new branded dashboard.

Goodbye 2016, welcome 2017

2016 has seen a lot of underlying changes on ToolsLib. Most of them were improvements to the current services, but we've also prepared the path towards all the new features that will appear in 2017.

AdwCleaner joins Malwarebytes

As some of you may have seen during the last hours, we're proud to announce that AdwCleaner is now part of the Malwarebytes family.
Following Malwarebytes initative to be more agressive on PUP (potentially unwanted programs) , it feels natural for AdwCleaner to associates with Malwarebytes in order to reach this goal and actively fight these unwanted software.

Renewal of the SSL/TLS certificate

The current SSL certificate expires in a few days, so it's time to renew it. Here's the signed fingerprint of the new certificate, issued by Gandi.

A pretty huge update has been published saturday evening on ToolsLib. It was mainly focused on the interface usability and software presentation, but also added improvements in the way developers get feedbacks from their users.
