OK so I am having the same problem. I am getting pop up ads by dns unlocker and when I researched how to get rid of it I found adwcleaner. It could be a solution but I think it's better to have a global whitelist.

I added "RtkNGUI64.exe" to the whitelist. Can you tell me if this is ok now ?

In the meantime, to be sure that you get the latest database version, can you copy/paste here the content of AdwCleaner scanning logfile (from C:\AdwCleaner\) ?

Yes, it's a Dell.  See the header of the scan file below (i did not post the entire file since it is quite long).  Let me know if you need any additional information.

It's the same "problem" than here - the latest database includes the fix, so you'll need to update it. It should be automatic when you click on [Scan]. Otherwise, please uninstall/reinstall AdwCleaner (by launching it -> "Uninstall") from there : https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/
