ADW cleaner does not appear to have downloaded properly

Just attempted to download ADW cleaner but it does not appear to have downloaded properly, so sign of it (or toolslib) in programs on control panel  whats the best course of action now??

AdwCleaner is a portable software. This means that no installation is required in order to use it. You just have to launch the previously downloaded executable that you can find on this page : https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/

 I do not agree with this formulation. Portable programs don't leave traces in the registry. AdwCleaner creates entry in the

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\AdwCleaner

And remove it only when uninstalling.

you're right, I was just trying to explain that AdwCleaner isn't provided with a setup executable. (At least, not on ToolsLib #repacksAreBad)
