Have you had any other success determining the issue? Have you tried first scanning with Malwarebytes and then AdwCleaner afterward? What OS are you running and which version? Because that might cause an issue with compatibility (Very rare case). Try launching the application in the admin mode? This guide also has more info about compatibility, IF it is the issue. Regarding the issue, it's not related to any installation process (AdwCleaner doesn't install anything), and it's fixed in the v7.0.1.0 betas that you can find...
Well.... My previous solution in Windows "Safe mode with networking" should help you out if you haven't done that. Alternatively, you could try using RKill to kill malicious software first. Then remove the identified files manually, afterward do a thorough scan with Malwarebytes, AdwCleaner, and HitmanPro. This should definitely yield some results.

Do you really think that if it was a bad file , all the best and known antiviruses ( DrWeb, Malwarebytes, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, etc.....) could mark it as safe ?
