PUP is usually named a Potentially Unwanted Program. It doesn't always have to be malware or malicious software. If MMO's have their anti-cheat in form of "Pando", it might interact with files at the system level, which AdwCleaner could deem treating a very normal reaction. I have downloaded the new version when I started it I had a window pop up to say that it was out of date. I clicked on the link and it downloaded the same version that I had before and I get the same problem Windows close the when it started to clean. Before with the older version I had no problem.

PUP is a potentially unwanted program. Basically, something that comes with bundleware or through other sources. As fr33tux mentioned, you should just remove them and not worry about it much. In general, if you see something with WARE in scans, it is some form of malware.
