Thank you for creating and continuing to update AdwCleaner. My 68 year old neighbor called me asking for help removing what turned out to be "Ads by CheckMeUp". Your software worked perfectly, and even found and resolved another issue as well. I am going to donate to help you continue your efforts. Successfully removed "www.mystartsearch.com" from Windows 8.1 x64 Notebook.
After I have tried all to me known procedures including Malwarebyte, Nod32 and other antivirus programs this was the only program that succeeded to remove adaware/virus "www.mystartsearch.com" from my notebook.

I never update my adwcleaner version automatically kicked from the app. I delete the app and I download the new version ONLY here. CNET or other site put their own spices with it that kicked all kind of security messages.
AdwCleaner just got rid of that noxious weed called "MyRadioPlayer" that sneaked by my virus protection. No problems encountered on Win 8.1 Pro.

Need Help!!! AdwCleaner is not opening in my notebook!
I have windows 7 Ultimate x32 Pentium T4300 2.10GHz RAM 2GB - Model Acer Extensa 5635z
my adw cleaner said it was out of date so i downloaded a newer version but problems occurred and my anti virus blocked it as it was seen as a threat to my computer i was really impressed with this tool now i am unable to use it hope you can give me some feedback as how i can remedy this problem so i may go on using your product

I'm using XP, and AdwCleaner has never detected any adware or malware on my computer other than one or two orphan registry entries. How many did AdwCleaner detect on your Windows 7 computer? Oh yeah, 140.... There's a lot more to computing than having the very latest... ;)
