Re: Download and 3rd party providers

Not in particular. I was surfing other forums, Norton, Kaspersky and in general tech and cyber security forums, and a lot of people have installation issues. Even when downloading from your website and official sources. I have also read plenty of entries in this forum about people not being able to install the software properly

As for 3rd Party providers FileHippo??? uptodown? Cnet? Toms guide...

Re: Version 7.0.0.0 scaling over 100%

It appears to be one. I have had multiple issues in the past with windows scaling, it just breaks applications. Not just ADWCleaner, but most of the applications. Only a few people do the scaling though, so globally it is not an issue. But yeah, maybe official representatives have some thoughts on this, I would like to know myself.

Re: AdwCleaner signature

You sure you are downloading it from an official source?  https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/ from here? If yes, there is a slight possibility, that if you have some form of malware, it will prevent you from downloading any cleanup files. Re: PUP.Legacy.Optional - 3 Threats Identified

Could be that you are a victim of bundleware. Basically, alongside normal maybe even useful software, some providers bundle malicious or useless software just to increase downloads and such. Have you downloading anything from 3rd party providers and not official sources?. Regardless of the fact, Malwarebytes or ADWCleaner should have picked it up and removed it, it could be much more thorough. ...

Re: AdwCleaner 7.0.0.0 XP SP3

Hello,

Yes, it required too much work to support 1.5% of users on deprecated OSes..

If you need an official support for those two OSes, please use MB3 instead.

Best regards,

Re: AdwCleaner 7.0.0.0 XP SP3

I guess it makes sense, since XP and Vista not supported officially by Microsoft, it would get exponentially more difficult to protect the platforms efficiently.

It is what you would call Bundleware or PUP (Potentially unwanted program), usually bundled with other more used software as part to generate more file downloads and installs. In the future always select advanced or expert options when installing, usually, they are hidden after that one checkmark. Additionally, you can do regu...

Torch browser very often came along with bundles and without user's agreement. If you install it by yourself simple remove check-marks from appropriate elements.Torch browser very often came along with bundles and without user's agreement. Re: After install Torch browser from the official page adwcleaner detects malware 18

I completely eliminate Torch.

After reiniiating I have some sort of problems with several disconfiguration. I wait to charge the system and reiniate again. The second reiniation was almost normal.

I am preparing the third....

My problem is solved.
